South in November; 2010Some Images may take time to load.
On Thursday, November 4 we headed out for Alabama. The day before I had loaded up a Hoosier Cabinet to take to my Brother Buddy and hooked up the trailer and loaded the RoadKing. I hate hauling the motorcycle. Something always happens and this time was no exception. I got the kickstand (which I forgot to put up) caught in the ramp of the trailer and ended up stretching out the KS spring. Replacing it was no big deal but it's just another mishap when it comes to hauling a motorcycle.
Thursday night we stayed just outside of Montgomery and then reached Buddy's place on Friday afternoon. He and JohnnieSue were waiting for us.

It was a bit chilly in November but not so terrible that we couldn't ride. The sun went down early and the evenings were in the 30's, which only meant we shortened our rides.
We visited Fort Morgan.
