Our Life Together Began Two Days Before Christmas As We Headed South To Alabama.

Here's where the travel fun begins; a sunset on Mobile Bay on the Gulf of Mexico viewed from Point Clear in Fairhope, Alabama.  This picture was taken on a Christmas Eve from the front porch of our dear friend, my Nam Brother, Buddy.

Carol and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Buddy.  Buddy didn't decorate extensively.

The day after Christmas, Carol and I headed over to Panama City Beach where we stayed until January 2, 2010.  Not only the the beginning of a New Year for us but the beginning of a new life.  It was New Year's Eve that we made our promise to one another.

As you no doubt can tell, it was a bit chilly.  In fact, the entire week it got above 55 degrees only two days.  But it was the first time to PCB for both of us and we had a great time.  The sunsets were absolutely spectacular.

Below is one of the better days on the beach.

Our first Spring together was spent landscaping, gardening, and preparing the homestead so we could spend more time on the road.  No pics to share but we may have some gardening and landscaping tips to help you prepare.

In April we headed north to Rochester, N.Y. so Carol could meet my family.  It's just something you have to do.

My Sisters, Pam and Jackie.   I was the surprise for my nieces 30th birthday.  Kind o' goofy eh?

Well of course I had to meet Carol's family in Milwaukee.  So the first week of June we rode from Ohio to Wisconsin.  What a wonderful ride.  So good we manage a 10 hour ride in one day just to avoid going anywhere near Chicago.

Sister Barb has a niece on her knee.   I'm hamming it up with Sister Dorothy.  Carol's friends George and Kathy.

      Brother Mike and more kids.

And a visit to Milwaukee means a stop at the local HD shop..
